Terms of Service

By creating an account or using HomeworkStreak, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

HomeworkStreak is operated by HomeworkStreak Pty Ltd, a company registered in Victoria, Australia.

HomeworkStreak provides a homework tracking, study planning, and gamification platform designed for Australian students aged 10–17 and their families. The service includes:

• A student-facing app for tracking assignments, study sessions, streaks, and XP
• A parent dashboard for monitoring homework completion and study habits
• SMS and email notifications (where enabled)
• Focus Mode (Pomodoro timer) and study analytics

To use HomeworkStreak you must:

• Be aged 10 or older (students under 13 require a parent account linked to their account)
• Provide accurate registration information
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@homeworkstreak.com.au if you believe your account has been compromised.

HomeworkStreak offers a 14-day free trial followed by a paid subscription at A$7.99/month. By starting a trial, you agree that:

• Your subscription will automatically renew monthly unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting support
• Refunds are provided at our discretion — contact support within 7 days of a charge if you believe you have been billed in error
• Prices may change with 30 days notice

You agree not to:

• Use HomeworkStreak for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another user's account without permission
• Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the service
• Upload malicious content or attempt to disrupt the service
• Provide false information during registration

HomeworkStreak and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by HomeworkStreak Pty Ltd and are protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create within the platform (such as homework notes). You grant us a limited licence to store and display that content to provide the service.

HomeworkStreak is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, HomeworkStreak Pty Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law where those rights cannot be excluded.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
